9th October

Was meant to be going down to Dungeness today, but my car wouldn't start. It has been resting for three weeks and then decided that its battery was too tired to work properly! Well lets wait until it needs filling up with diesel and I decide that I:m too tired to go to the garage......yeah that will teach it!!
Its a nice day so I decided to go to Port Lympne instead. I had a nice day with some good views of the animal collection as well as some native species inc, buzzards, woodpeckers, kestrels and jays to name a few.

September 14th

I have not been able to get in much birding lately and what little I have managed I have no new photos to share, so here are some pics of a different subject matter, Folkestone Airshow, Hurrican, B25 Mitchell, Spitfire and Typhoon.......well at least they are pictures of something flying!

Yippee I'm home after 7 days in hospital, I'm still in bed at home and hopefully I will be out and about next week.
As expected I did miss some good birds, a report from Mark H advising of first flights of 3 juvenile marsh harriers from the ramp at Dungy. Can't wait to get down and see them asap.

5 Days and counting!

Such lovely weather and I am typically missing it all. After being taken in to KCH on Wednesday 24th it still does not look as though I will be discharged within the next few days, so I hope everyone else enjoys the weather and there will bound to be many good birds this week!

WOW!! 2 Days on the trot. Just thought I'd put on a few pics I hadn't yet got around to posting.
