5 Days and counting!
Such lovely weather and I am typically missing it all. After being taken in to KCH on Wednesday 24th it still does not look as though I will be discharged within the next few days, so I hope everyone else enjoys the weather and there will bound to be many good birds this week!

June 21
Well.......I cant believe its been almost a year since my last post on here.
I have lost my driving licence, apparently I am not medically fit to drive, I will have to wait until April next year before I can be reassessed.
I have been out and about a little bit still, thanks to friends driving me about, predominately Richard and Colin, so thanks go to them. Richard is continuing to take me down to Dungeness fortnightly on Friday mornings.
It appears that there are at least 2 maybe 3 marsh harrier nest sites on the main reserve and also a bittern has been displaying typical food run activity all viewable from the ramp.
I can get my wheelchair on a bus quite easily so I have been able to get to a few places. I do like going up to the Cliff Top Café at Capel.
I have also had two trips lately to Port Lympne which is accessible due to the car park being on the main Folkestone to Ashford bus route. I can even get my wheelchair on the safari trucks so I can enjoy the "African Experience". Please see pics below from these two trips.
